Woke up this morning to a friend's blog and I realised I hadn't really blogged about myself, so the plan was to ramble a little about Me. But a very unfortunate circumstance is taking over the body of this post.
My regular random day was altered when I passed the scene of an accident very early this morning, a boy definitely under age 10 was knocked down by a car his little body was laying lifeless by the side of the road surrounded by people filled with grief. A million an one different thoughts ran through my head and an immediate feeling of weakness overwhelmed me, there was a strong pain in my chest "literally". I never knew I was that emotional but who wouldn't be at a sight like that? "This minor who hadn't even lived life just died in a very unnatural manner".
I felt worse when I imagined how the boy's mother and other family members would feel when they hear the news, when an ordinary passerby like me could feel the way I felt. Only God can comfort her in this period of grief. The thought that life can be taking away just like that is a very scary one, 'Things like this are inevitable', a friend said to me ‎​"Such things do happen, painful realities of life, that's why its an accident". Just as I was about to publish this post I received the good news that my uncle's wife had a baby boy, I have a new nephew. Good news for some people sad ones for some, a life was taken and a new life was giving. It is my friend's birthday today too 'Happy birthday Lola Odunlami'.
At the end of the day I'm in-between sad and happy, but I'll just say May the Almighty God guide and protect us all AMEN!

Plant A Tree Save A Life

Project "plant a tree save a life" is not a phrase coined just because people like to plant trees, it is a serious step in the right direction to one of mother earth most serious problems "Global warming".
As the name implies global warming is simply the abnormal heating of the earth this causes or in some cases speed up the disasters that have plagued the earth for years now, not to bore you with definitions, as much as we all claim we love the earth we have contributed one way or another to her gradual destruction.
Deforestation is a big word with big effects on the environ. Its a cycle animals leave in trees, these trees also serve as food for some animals, if a tree is cut this cycle has been interrupted, extension and other things have occurred because of this, its a lot of fancy words but at the end it has affected the earth.
Project plant a tree save a life is one of the many ways to combat climate change because the trees helps reduce the carbon dioxide which deforestation causes, no matter how small, plant a tree today because as the destruction starts small so also does solutions, your tree matters. Help reduce global warming.

Why Muslim Women Wear Hijab

Its not the first time this question is being asked,but its an issue that needs to be addressed.
The major misconception about it is that muslim women are forced to wear the hijab and its a form of oppression towards women. Sumayya Syed a 16year old says "I say to
people who ask; that it is a form of liberation and when a woman is covered she cannot be
judged by her appearance but people are forced to evaluate her by her personality, character and morals. Wearing the hijab is not a responsibility but a right given by the Almighty who knows us best.
Some people ask if the hijab is used everywhere the truth is that a muslim woman only has to covers herself in front of men who are not direct relatives to prevent indecent acts or thoughts. Some people see women who wear hijab as weirdos and illiterates who don't know anything, but truth be told its the complete opposite plus it brings more self respect and confidence in yourself, it gives the muslim identity, people treat you with a certain respect.
In reality the less a woman wears the more she is degraded and put in the line of male criticism. Why should only the women cover up? They ask, they even call it a form of male
domination and oppression but do the experiment take a man out topless and people will probably ignore him and walk away but do the same for a woman and see what happens. The male and female body where created differently.
But because a woman wears hijab doesn't automatically bring respect she has to earn it with her behaviour because that's a very important character in a woman the external
covering is a reflection of inner commitment..

On This Note I Say Thank You

Its a new year and I waited a whole month before updating my blog, I've been really busy that's the best excuse I could come up with.
This year is running like its a race, it feels like january first was just yesterday but the calender says different a full 32 days have gone past today, to God be the glory its been a good year so far.
I was 20 on the 17th of january I don't feel older thou, but I felt something, something that I had all this while but never really notice "True friends that care". From 12am on my birthday I started getting birthday messages and they didn't stop till the next day, "gifts" I didn't get but the love I got from friends an family was more than any gift I could ave ever gotten with the exception of a car,house,a million dollars e.t.c. The smiles the messages put on my face was priceless and will not be forgotten in a hurry.
I love you all thank you and God bless you, I could never wish for better friends I ave the best already

Is Sex An Issue Of Time

When do you know if its the right time? In truth the real question is, Is he the right guy. I hear women say I have been with him for 5years,I think i should allow him he has tried some say. Like it was an endurance test for the ultimate price. The common saying "I want it to be special" can't be achieved with time because there is no such thing as right time. sex is a. Sacred union that is special only with the right partner not time. Its like the question of love used in this scenario, do we have to be with a person for a long while before we are safe to fall in love. So the question should not be the right time it should be right partner but that's a discussion for another day. Finding the right partner and them loving your inner and physical qualities and being able to with stand your faults. If u must have sex time should not be a criteria the person its with is the main criteria

Inner Beauty

Low self esteem is a problem faced by both sexes but the female folk pay the greater price. Low self esteem from my personal point of view is when a being feels oppressed because of a defect. This defect is usually natural in case of women and material for men,the beginning of the end of a being is when we realise our defect and make the greatest mistake; forget that everybody has a one whether natural or material.
Women pay a greater price because when they are faced with this sad reality,mostly in a question of beauty,but they forget "physical beauty is not ours" we where created with it and its not our call to decide who is beautiful or not. But beauty on the inside,this is beauty with a capital "B" because we make that our self with a lot of hard work and effort. Once a woman is confident with her inner beauty the issue of self esteem is no longer an issue.
Women should always remember if you where not loved for your inner beauty you where never loved to begging with

Change For The Best

When people ask what gives you your inspiration to write,I go numb not because its a secret or am hiding it so I can monopolies,its far from it because I don't write on inspiration I just write its something that comes naturally I don't have to stair at the sky or face a near death experience to do it,sometimes I fear the "gift" will go,and my hand also will be numb like my response to their question,i call it a gift because that's the only word that came to my mind at the time. I only pray and wish my writings will reach high places not just for recognition but to strike a change in this country we live in and for all others who need this type of change,because this change that I cry for is not your regular change for the better its "change for the best" where the voice of the underdog will be heard by his master, not just heard his ideas worked on to create the best change in the history of changes.
